About Us

Built to Strengthen Democratic Processes.

TallyPaper was created to address a persistent gap in election transparency — the delay and opacity between when results are posted at polling stations and when they become publicly accessible.

Our Mission

TallyPaper's mission is to make election results more transparent, accessible, and verifiable — from the moment they are posted at the polling station to the moment they reach the public.

In many electoral contexts, official results are physically posted at polling stations but take hours or days to be aggregated and published centrally. This gap creates uncertainty, fuels misinformation, and erodes public confidence in the electoral process.

TallyPaper bridges that gap. By enabling authorized users to capture, enter, and sync result data directly from the field, we help ensure that accurate information reaches stakeholders faster — and that every posted result can be independently verified.

"Transparency is not a partisan issue. It is the foundation of legitimate democratic governance."

Our Principles

The values that guide every decision we make — from product design to partnership.

Transparency

We believe every citizen has the right to access accurate, verifiable election results. TallyPaper exists to make that possible.

Integrity

Our platform is built with security and accuracy at its core — from role-based access controls to encrypted data transmission.

Accessibility

Designed for real-world field conditions, including low-connectivity environments, so no polling station is left behind.

Non-Partisanship

TallyPaper is strictly neutral. We serve the process, not any party, candidate, or political interest.

The Problem We're Solving

In many countries, election results are determined at the polling-station level and physically posted for public viewing. However, the process of aggregating these results centrally is slow, manual, and prone to error — creating a window of uncertainty that can last hours or days.

During this window, unverified claims and unofficial tallies often circulate, undermining public confidence even when the official process is sound. Observer organizations, candidates, and media outlets struggle to independently verify results without access to station-level data.

TallyPaper addresses this directly. By enabling structured, role-based digital capture of polling-station results — with photo documentation and offline capability — the platform creates a parallel, verifiable record that can be reconciled against official results in real time.
